Great for deicing an existing ice dam
Easy to install in our gutters, helped me melt an ice dam that had already formed prior to installing this heat cable. I look forward to how it will prevent next winter the ice dam from forming in the first place

Frost King RC80
Works well. Living in Northern Illinois winters at times can be brutal. The snow and ice build up on the Northside of our ranch style home builds up and adds a lot of weight to the roof and gutters. This seems to have solved that problem.

Great product!
I put this in a ditch along my house. Snow build up from the roof was causing my basement to get wet. Also ice would build up in the drain ditch and then I would have a mess. Pulled it through the pipe and it is draining nice and melting the snow.

Clears Ice & Snow If Installed Properly
Was warned by some that these and like products don’t work, but we followed the instructions and spaced loops close… and so far (Mar2022) they are defeating a MN winter. No ice damns, no leaks.
