A Handy Little Workhorse with Room for Improvement 🔧😐
As a DIY enthusiast always tackling odd jobs around the house, I was thrilled to discover the Draper Dual Purpose Air and Fluid Transfer Pump. This nifty little gadget promised to be a multi-tasking marvel, and in many ways, it delivers on that promise. 👍Let's start with the positives. The ability to use this pump for both air inflation and liquid transfer is an absolute game-changer. No more lugging around separate pumps for deflated bike tires and leaky oil pans – this bad boy handles it all with ease. 💪 The suction power is impressive, allowing me to quickly inflate tires or siphon fluids without breaking a sweat. The "leak-free Quick-Link feature" is another major plus. No more wrestling with finicky connections or dealing with pesky drips and spills. The pump attaches securely, ensuring a tight seal and mess-free operation. 🤝However, there are a few areas where this pump falls short. While it excels at handling small jobs, tackling larger tasks like draining a car's oil reservoir or inflating a massive air mattress can become a real workout. The pump's compact size, while convenient for storage, can be a hindrance when you need sustained pumping power. 😅Additionally, the length of the tubing could be improved. For those hard-to-reach spots or deep containers, the included tubing often leaves me stretching and contorting like a circus performer. A longer, more flexible option would be a welcome upgrade. 🥵Now, let's address the "Customers say" section from my perspective: "While the Draper Dual Purpose Pump is undoubtedly a versatile and well-made tool, its performance can be hit-or-miss depending on the task at hand. It excels at small, quick jobs but may leave you winded for larger projects. The length of the tubing could also use some improvement for better reach and maneuverability." 🤷♂️Overall, the Draper Dual Purpose Air and Fluid Transfer Pump is a worthwhile investment for any DIY enthusiast or homeowner looking for a reliable, multi-purpose pump. Just be aware of its limitations, and you'll have a handy little workhorse in your toolbox. 🔧😊

Good pump.
For the price, definitely value for money. So easy to use. The end pipes come off for easy cleaning and fit back on easily, seals well and did help me out when I needed to drain my awkward sump with no drain holes. Recommended

cheap but works
Worked well for pumping the water from underneath a slick of oil on a oil drain pan I'd accidentally left outside, oil floats to all I needed to do was put the hose under the oil and it pumped it all out, then I used it for pumping the leftover oil into a large fabric conditioner plastic bottle, the only complaint I have is that the input hose had a kink in the plastic which insisted on folding up the hose under vacuum, but some hot water took out the deformation, it worked well for what it cost, it'll probably only be used once.

Simple but totally does what it is intended for. Perfect.
Absolutely does what it says on the tin! Perfect. Used to siphon petrol from a lawnmower to a petrol can. Placed the lawnmower slightly higher than the can by placing in on a pallet, connected the two hoses to the pump ensuring the hoses clicked into place at the pump end. Inserted each of the other ends of the hoses to the lawnmower petrol tank and can and then pumped a few times until the lawnmower was empty. Job done. Totally simple, took less than a minute to complete the whole process and absolutely delighted. Was expecting a horror show based on all the feedback messages but quite frankly, if you follow this process for whatever you are siphoning, you cannot go wrong. 5-star, could not have asked for anything more from this simple yet brilliant device. Very pleased customer.

Great whilst working
Very simple pump for transferring fluids, draining petrol tanks etc. If you’ve a large amount of liquid to transfer I would suggest buying an electric pump as this one’s slow. The pump can become very stiff during use and I’ve had the rubber O ring come off despite applying light oil. Petrol just dries out the lubrication within a few strokes. It’s still worth buying if you know its limitations.

Perfect for the job
Needed this to remove the stagnant water inside a car washer bottle. Easy to use and effective. Pumped all the water out very quickly and I was able to top up with the correct fluids. No more smelly washers!

Would not recommend
The pump didn't ever seem very solid but worked ok for the first couple of times, then it started to leak the petrol I was transferring so overall not sturdy or suitable.

Used to drain fuel from a car
Worked well, I couldn’t have the receiving container low enough for a free flow and had to pump continuously as a result, but it was no big drama to get about 30 litres of fuel transferred. The 1.3m hoses supplied were not long enough to get far enough into the fuel tank, so had to buy a longer one for the input side. But the box helpfully specifies it’s a 12mm outer diameter that’s needed and there are many available on Amazon.4 stars for my purposes as I had to buy a new pipe to use it for that, but it made it a fairly trivial task once a longer hose was added. Did not leak at all, important with fuel.
