Easy to set and choose if you want it to roll away or not. My child does not like to wake up and stay up. When the alarm was across the room she would turn it off then go back to bed. It's loud and definitely moves around the room. I wish the clock face light was always on so you can see what time it is at night without having to click it to see better. I also wish it was a little faster but still works good. I keep it on my night stand and it rolls off when the alarm goes off and onto the floor and keeps moving. If it bumps into something it can get stuck sometimes
