Craftsman 3 & 4 gal. Replacement Filter by Kopach, 1 Pack, Original Filter

These filters fit well. Its a good idea to remove them before using the vacuum for liquids, if the filters get wet, they are no longer useful.

Third or fouth time I have ordered filters from Kopach. Will continue to do so.

Perfect fit and quality. Only reason for 4 stars is that the nut to hold in place is not included.

I ordered the filter PLUS the cap which did come with the wingnut. I inherited a very old Sears Craftsman wet dry vac, model 113.179130 (8 gallon, 1.5 HP). It worked but the old filter that was attached was not working since there was no cap or wingnut to hold it on. This fit perfectly and the cap and wingnut now hold the filter in place. It is as powerful suction as before and works great now. Thank you for your product as now I don't need to buy a new one!

SO glad this company is there, making filters to fit older shop vacs. My 1986-era Craftsman shop vac is better than any of the modern ones, and I keep it that way with a new filter every few years. This one fits perfectly -- catches the dust, releases it later, and cleans up with a hose blast when necessary. Replace your lousy old filter with a new one; you'll be glad you did.

I had an old Craftsman shop vac which had limited suction, to the point of uselessness. Also, the motor was working very hard--it was making an "electrical" smell as it operated. I installed the new filter (very easy) and it is working perfectly now as a dry vacuum and a wet-vac to dry carpets after cleaning.

Couldn't find a replacement for this Sears machine...20 yrs old. Sears didn't have/never had them . My poor filter was in need of retirement. I found this one and it fits perfectly. The folds are a little smaller than the original but it still does the job. Recommend also, always take out the filter when picking up liquids. It will last longer.
