It was well built I thought it was a bit heavy.But well built not flemsy.Took quite a bit of chilseling to get set in flush

Looks good and very solid.

I could have sworn these said “flush mount” when I bought them - which is what I needed - but you’ll have to route any wooden surface prior to installing. Bummer.

I bought 3 of these. After opening and inspecting the first two I had no reason to look at the third. These are made from cast stainless steel and someone has been very rough on them with a grinder to finish the parts. There are scrapes and gouges all over the parts. The handles are not uniform between the two handles I opened, they do not line up properly in the groove either. One of them binds on the housing when you lift it up. Looking at the cross pin they pivot on, there is only 1mm of metal behind the pin, these will break quickly. I will not be putting these on my boat.

No screws come with this product. Unbelievable. Every hardware I've purchased came with mounting screws.

Very nice, solid and sturdy. Did not bend or mis-shape when tightening down screws. Had a polished finish, not brushed or machined. Used as a flush handle for an access hatch in a patio deck. It took some time to carefully chisel out a recess in the deck board so it would lay flush with a tight, neat fit. I’m not sure why people complain about no screws being supplied since each application can call for a different length or thread type. No big deal, go to your local Ace, True Value or other hardware store and get the exact size, thread and head type you need. Stainless steel should be the preferred material since the handle is SS.
