Great Product
I have a 96 Eagle Vision that had developed a stumbling problem when shifting from 3rd to 4th. Oddly, when the transmission was cold it shifted perfectly. But, when it warmed up, it would do a jitterbug going into 4th. My transmission specialist had little to offer other than spending $2,000 plus on a transmission overhaul. So, before doing that I decided to give Dura Lube's Advanced Transmission Treatment a try. It's been in the car for more than a month now, and I have been pleasantly surprised. Over time its positive effect has only gotten better. While it has not been a total cure for the problem, it has improved the situation about 95 percent. Enough to allow me to avoid a major transmission overhaul! Maybe not forever, but certainly for now. I hightly recommend it, and intent to install it in any new/used cars I purchase in the future.Update: Shortly after buying the Duralube Treatment, I bought a pint of PROLONG TRANSMISSION TREATMENT, and also added it to the transmission. That was a year and a half ago. So far, so good. I'm still driving the car; the transmission is still balky (sometimes chatters)shifting into 4th, but the problem has gotten no worse. The combination of the two additives has certainly been better than spending $2,000+ on a transmission overhaul. If you're early on into a transmission problem give these additives a try. I'm glad I did!7/5/2013 update:When I first used this product my car had @120,000 miles on it, and the transmission was failing. The car was worth considerably less than the $2,000+ that the transmission company wanted to fix it. The car now has 153,000 miles on it, and the transmission is still functioning adequately. It has not gotten worse! I'm not recommending you use this product unless you are in a situation similar to what mine was. I had nothing to lose by trying this product, and I'm VERY HAPPY with how things have turned out.

Works
I have used this product before in older cars. It helps minimize slippage and extends life of trani fluid. Not a miracle but worth the money and harmless as long as one is careful not to overfill and cause a leak.

NO HELP FOR ME
I have a 2000 buick with 130,000 miles. the tranny went south 6 months ago, and a 2nd hand tranny(from a wrecked buick) was bought and installed ($1600).The new tranny works just fine except for when coming out of reverse and then into drive. when shifting from 1st to 2nd, the 2nd does not always engage as it should and it slips, and slips and slips, not going into 2nd. after letting up on the accelerator it will sometimes go into 2nd, but very often it won't and the pressure on the accelerator has to be lessened again and then it will shift into 2nd.... I added the Duralube Adv/trns/trmnt approx 3 weeks ago and there is absolutely no improvement. My mechanic, whom I trust, suggested that we try the Duralube product. Fortunately, I paid for a 12 month warranty on the transmission and the shop will pay for a replacement tranny, but I'll be stuck with another $600 R&R. Really wished that this stuff would have worked.

To each their own
I keep up on my tranny services every 15-20,000 miles. I added this recently to my last tranny service and it hasn't made a big difference at all. As long as you use synthetic fluid, this is not needed in my opinion!!!

GREAT product
I'm using it in my 2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L. The Honda ATF oil is not enough to avoid the wear and tear caused by high temperatures in your tranny. You really need this oil along the engine treatment oil if you are planning on taking long trips or towing if you don't buy them in the long run you'll be sorry. Simple like this, if you really love your Odyssey treat him with all the Dura Lube line, I don't work for this company I just don't want you tho miss the benefits of these great products. That's all. Thanks.

It saved my transmission
100% Trust this product. In one past occasion had a 1997 V8 Silverado pick up with it's transmission having the "hick-ups" after forced to shift gears in motion in a flooded area. The dealer told me I needed a new transmission. Met an old timer who recommended D-Lube. My transmission lasted impecably from 180,000 miles to precisely 263,000 miles when I sold the truck. Got it ?
