Without springs in place, the bird wire system will lose tension over time, failing to deter unwanted birds. - INSTALLATION OF SPRINGS - Springs are a critical component in installing bird wire systems, and every run section should contain at least 1 spring. The spring should be attached directly to the post whilst the other end to the wiring system and held firmly using a bird wire crimp.
