I ordered two spools of KastPro 20lb braid in pink and black and love it! This line is thin and strong allowing you to detect the smallest of bites and deliver a powerful hookset. Also, there is a thin coating on the line that makes it smooth so your braid doesn’t pick up silt and saw through your guides. I use KastKing braid on every reel I own and haven’t had any regrets! After all of the years I’ve been using other brands of braid I decided to get some pro cast. I love how thing dimensions the line is for 20 lbs but had tons of strength. Used it over the weekend with my speed demon and had no backlashes what so ever from tossing swim baits, crank baits, chatter baits, and many other type of lures.Love how they toss them on a biospool so you know they will disintegrate after 6-8 months instead of piling up in a land field.

I don't know who's writing the reviews of this braid, but I doubt it's anyone who's actually used it. First, as others have noted, it's much thicker than comparables at the same pound test, about 20-25% thicker, so you're not going to get nearly as much line on your reel as you would with the usual suspects...PowPro/Suffix/Spiderwire/Samurai, let alone Gliss or Nanofil. Second, after several breakooffs on offshore kelp that I wouldn't expect to happen with 40# test, I decided to test the line`s break strength properly (large bucket, fish scale & water hose) and, to my surprise, the 40# line never made it above 25# over 5 tests - always broke the line, knots held. Ive done the same exact test on other braids, never found one that broke below rated strength. Third, because it's such a loose weave it's casts very poorly, often wrapping around the rod tip if I'm casting crosswind. Fourth, it's color bleeds much more quickly than most comparables - they all bleed, but I expect more than one outing before they do. Bottom line, this stuff is rubbish, no serious angler would use this line as a primary, unless they had no alternative. Maybe it could find use as a backer, but even then, given its poor break strength, this would be ill advised.

Found 3 bumps that looks like an error during the braiding process. I just hope I'm the only one who got a bad spool. Other than that... seems just as good Power Pro with a great price. Kast King backed their products up. They sent me one to replaced the less than perfect spool and now I'm trusting a product that's made in the USA!!

I am not a big braid kind of person but being the fact KastPro is made in USA with Spectra fibers I was hooked, With research I found its a 4 strand braid that is thinner and stronger then just about anything out there. This is going to get spooled up on my flippin and punchin rods.

The KastPro Braided Line is by far a top notch Braid. KastPro is by far a more superior Braid than anything out now. It is abrasion resistant and gives you that added bit of confidence knowing that if you fish in a rocky area or are fishing an area with lots of cover you won’t have to worry about your line and focus on the beast at the end of it. KastKing put some time into this line, the fact that this line is fade resistant is good as well. Casting with KastPro is like casting Mono in the sense that it cast far and effortlessly. I have casted it with either a bait caster or spinning reel and have had no issues. It seems like I can cast it a bit further. And at around $20 this could easily be a $30 or $40 Braid.

This line is amazing, really smooth, strong and casts far. The abrasion resistance is good, and it's super thin which allows for those longer casts and high reel capacity! I recommend. Strong line and small diameter. Makes a good combination for catching that fish of your dreams. I choose the yellow line, I found it works for me.

Absolutely awful, tangles really badly and far too frequently. I spent more time untangling than fishing, and in the end gave up and cut it off my reel. I popped to a local tackle shop and spent £8.00 on some other braid, which did not tangle once for the rest of the whole weekend's fishing. I've been around pike fishing for quite some time now, and my opinion is that this should be avoided at all costs. Buy cheap and you buy twice.

Great product, customer and delivery second to none, have been using this line for a while and is just as good as products 3 times the price.
