Innovations by Chance The Raiser- Large BGE Grate & Pizza Stone Lifter

I hesitated buying this at first. The cost seemed high for just another grate. I am happy to report, as with a lot of things, that I got what paid for--- this device has made cooking, chicken, in particular, effortless even with marinades that would occasionally burn because the BGE was burning too hot that day (nevermind operator error :)).

Bought mine for a BGE large. Doesn't come with the grate. And the design is different than the images in that it will only hold a pizza stone 14" or less. Otherwise well built, but pricey for just the framing to raise the grate without the grate included.Just be sure you know what you're getting before you order, or you'll pay to ship it back like I did.

I dont like it .It does not come with the grate on top like it shows nor do i understand how it is supposed to be used ???

I use this grate for firing up Burgers on the BGE for that irreplaceable flame broiled taste!. The direct setting without the Raiser can make flipping the burgers a challenge. Works great for both burgers & holding a standard six=zed Pizza Stone

Solidly built. Helpful when you need the grill grate level with the lid opening. Just remember the temperature at that a tad different because the food will be farther from the heat source.

I gave it as a gift and my fellow Green Egg cooker loves it. I got one for mine and I use it all the time.

A challenge to your creativity. A strong accessory that supports a 20-lb steel baking surface.
