The grate is much stronger than I had expected and I am very pleased with it.

Decent quality. Sturdy
The grate feels sturdy. I like the fact that the gaps are smaller than those on my old cast iron one. Better at catching leaves. Price is good compared to others, but still little pricey, though, for just one piece of plastic.

unfortunately the bottom is rounded so it does not sit flat on a hard surface; measures accurately at 11.75 inches square

It's grate!
What can I say about a grate that isn't going to sound pretty dull. I bought 4 of these to put on top of some gravel to use in our outdoor shower. The grate squares are light, but not too light, and stay in place nicely due to the graduated ribs on the underside. If we enlarge the shower, I'll buy more of the same.
