Really nice bit, really clean cuts
I was originally using a hole saw to cut holes in my boards but every time i'd get horrendous splintering. Decided to get this bit to do a proper job. After getting some jigs laser cut this worked perfectly. It's not a plunge bit mind so keep moving as you route if you don't want to drill a hole. The finish was amazing. I was doing holes and slots and it looked like a perfect machined cut. Really crisp edges and smooth bores. Honestly made doing holes and slots ten times better.Just be careful how you move with it when doing a full depth cut as it can sometimes catch and move more than you might expect but I never experienced it jumping at all, and even when it caught the cut was still clean.I'd recommend the bit if you doing jig work, especially if you're looking for a clean cut.

Proper Quality - No Vibration and Good Cut
Not cheap but worth the money. I have had over the years numerous pattern following router bits from the cheap to the expensive and generally speaking I usually regret aiming cheap. Sometimes you do grab a bargain but oftentimes you end up with an out of balance bit that chatters and cuts badly or leaves you with double vision because of the vibration.Fortunately when you buy a Trend bit you know you won't have these issues. They cut cleanly with minimal vibration as they are well balanced and the bearing last well.Overall I really do think its better to spend the extra and buy a good quality Trend router bit than a cheapo no-name brand.

Beast of a bit. Respect it.
Used this to rout the body and neck of my guitar. Quick word about this bit...it is a beast. It ate through the wood like it wasn't there and left a lovely finish. The bearing is exactly the same width as the cutter so you can have confidence you aren't going to stray from your template. Having said that, be very careful with routers, coz they are scary things, and with this bit, well, yikes. Awesome bit of kit, worthy of purchase...and respect!!!

Poor Quality
Waste of money. Brought an expensive bit thinking it would last but broke within two minutes. Finished the job with a cheap bit from a set I brought from ALDI.

Really good quality
This bit costs more than the no name bits available but it is worth it. One thing to check though is that this is the bit you want - Amazon's description is not that helpful. I double checked the model on Trend's website, where it is described far better.

Not bad at all. Impressed.
A quality router bit for general routing and cutting work. You can spend £££’s more but get only a little more accuracy in reality. This is fine for cutting laminate worktops, routing straight edges for joins etc. Very happy with it.

Trend Template router cutter
Good quality and very sharp but the only thing that is upsetting is that it doesn't come with a container to store it. Maybe the one I got was a returned item that didn't have it's packaging. Now it's exposed to the humid air and will probably rust in time. Not totally pleased as my other purchases of Trend Router bits.

Bearing misaligned with cutting edge, over-cuts
The bearing on this wasn't the same size as the blade, or it was able to move, so the blade over-cuts, even into the template. The seller was good enough to refund in full though. If you ignore the bearing and use this as a normal straight cutter, it cuts very well. But bits without bearings are much cheaper.
