Walnut Hollow Pendulum Clock Movement for 3/4-inch Surfaces, Small

We have a clock and the hands stopped working. Ordered this unit, was easy to install and works perfectly.

This was the EXACT Pendulum Clock Movement that I needed. We have a special clock and the original movement just gave out. This was exactly as described, and installation was easy with the directions provided. As for packaging, exactly as well as it was protected, and it came with no issues.

I have a German-made pendulum wall clock that my parents bought in the mid 1960's. The original precision mechanical timing and chime movement was never cleaned and the clock had not worked properly for years. A professional cleaning job was estimated to cost at least $100.Instead I replace the mechanical movement with this battery-powered movement. The pendulum is just for "looks" -- the actual time-keeping is done by the quartz crystal inside -- like any modern watch or wall clock. This movement keeps very good time..The hands provided with this new movement are small and unassuming. You can buy bigger hands at many craft stores, but most of those were too large for my old clock's face.The "hub" connections for the original clock hands are a different style than the modern hands. My solution was to clip off the "hubs" from the original hands, clip off the "points" from the new hands, and then graft the ornamental original hands (minus their hubs) onto the remaining parts of the new hands using some silicone glue.The attached picture shows the result.Per the instructions of the new battery-powered movement, the pendulum will stop swinging when the single AA battery is getting low and in need of replacement. However the clock will continue to keep time in this situation.I chose this movement as I wanted a silent clock. There are other versions of this movement that include a digital chime feature using a small speaker.

The package was missing a nut and washer necessary for holding the clock hands in place. Without those, it will fall apart. I cannot return it because the original packaging was destroyed while trying to remove the clock movement.

I was going to just buy a new clock when ours decided to quit working. So I looked on Amazon and found an almost exact replacement. Easy to install and works like a new clock. What I liked is that it comes with new clock hands and pendulum, however I used my old ones as they matched the clock.

The parts have not lasted and the clock not longer keeps Tim.

Compramos este sistema de péndulo porque el del reloj había dejado de funcionar a pesar de seguir dando la hora y no se podía arreglar. Así que una vez instalado, pusimos el péndulo original del reloj en vez del que trae y sin ningún problema. Muy contento con la compra.
