Bought this as a gift. Exactly what she was looking for. She loved it and uses it all the time.

Sent this back the day I bought it. Tipped. Would stay upright. Very low wattage. Wanted it for my upright but it fell over while playing.

Returned, as it did not work at all.

The lamp is adequate for a grand piano but with some limitations. It does not extend and that can be significant.as the lighted bar is not really that long. The light is sufficiently bright but would be better if brighter. I rated it three stars because the price was very competitive.

This is a great lamp if you don't want to spend a lot of money. The light is bright enough to light up the page (two settings) without being obnoxiously bright. The only down side is that it's a little short. I feel like the makers could have made the lamp and/or arm a little longer. But other than that, it's a pretty good deal.

Works excellent as a piano light.
