A really in depth review
This is going to be a long review so strap in I'll start with a regular pro con listPros- it holds heat super well for a bearded dragon you'd probably only need a 75 watt basking lamp (depending on the brand). About 12 inches from the bulb is about 110 degrees-holds humidity incredibly well rarely have to mist-price is good compared to competition like vision- looks cool-super light-seems sturdy-relatively easy to assemble.-easy to access animals and cleanCons-the locks never really attach well for me-first cage came without instructions and the websites instructions aren't as good as the one on paper-the plastic wrap is a pain to get off sometimesActual reviewI have two (going to get a third) for a boa constrictor imperator and for my adult corn snake. First package came absolutely destroyed (cage was fine but the USB fixture was bent) didn't blame manufacturer figured it was the delivery company. When you open this up you will get styrofoam everywhere so have a vacuum ready lol. Originally had a 75w intense basking bulb in the cage. Temperatures were way too high for my corn snake. Cool side was still in the high 80's, 12 inches below the light was about 110, to the left or right of the bulb but still the warm side was mid-high 90's. Perfect for a bearded dragon not so much for a corn snake. 50w bulb works much better for him. (Please note outside temperature will have a huge impact on this). Got a second one for my new boa. This shipment faired much better. Stacked it on top of the first one. I plan on getting a third to stack on top of that one. Snakes like to climb the temperature probes so the hooks you use to hold the wires will get torn out. The cages are easy to access and clean. Holds humidity almost stupidly well. The last few days it started getting warm. Had to get a window ac because the room was getting to 88 degrees from the sun beating into the room causing the cages to get into the 110-120 range. This isn't a result of the cages design but rather to show how outside air has an impact. I have a heat mat in the boa's cage with a thermostat.Someone complained about the cost of the materials to make it is cheaper than this. Which yeah it is but that's how every product is. A company isn't going to sell you something for the cost of materials. This is actually a good valueSomeone else complained about it not getting warm enough. Which I have no idea how he has that issue. I could probably do a 25w bulb and the temps would be fine for my corn snake. So I dont know what his issue was.Take a look at the pictures (also I need more wood for my snakes to climb on and chill on)

More than expected!
EDIT: After 18 months the 18" light ballast quit working, thus I deducted a star. I reached out to the company but received no response. Maybe I was just unlucky enough to have a bad unit, but DIY Cages should've responded. I purchased another light from them ($48) so we'll see if it was a fluke. Other than this issue, the cage is great. After reading every review for the Critter Condo I decided to buy it. I decided to use black silicone on each edge before screwing the panels together to add more strength to the joints. I did not add silicone to the top because I wanted to be able to remove it in case I needed better access to the lighting.Overall I'm very impressed at the sturdiness of the unit once it's fully assembled, and it's SUPER LIGHT! So light that it's very noticeable when compared to the old 50gal glass tank. The only issue I'm having is too much heat retention. I had to remove the 150w basking bulb as the temperature went over 110* after 2hrs. Now there's a 100w bulb in and the hot side is now a steady 104*. With that said, I don't know what the one review was doing wrong when they said it didn't hold heat in.I broke the cool side thermometer on the old tank when trying to remove it and didn't get home from the store with the new one on time (light timer shut lights off). We shall see what the cool side temp is tomorrow!I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their enclosure, especially for a Bearded Dragon.***UPDATE*** Switching to the 100w basking bulb did reduce the temperature on both sides a bit,96-warm side, 90-cool side compared to 112/94. Still not where I'd like the difference so I'm going to try a 75w bulb. My last ditch effort is going to be adding a low rpm fan on the cool side blowing down or add a larger vent to that side.I'm still impressed by this enclosure with no regrets for the purchase.

Fire safety
I got 2 of these directly from their website last year. One was scratched upon arrival and both seem hazy (I got the black on black). Setting them up was a challenge but got it done. Fast forwarding to now (a year later) and I HIGHLY REGRET these tanks. They suck to clean and scuff very easily. The real kicker is the fixtures. I thought one of my heat bulbs were burned out, come to find out it MELTED off after I went to change the bulb n it came one and off again. I inspected the other and sure enough it's doing the same thing, which might be why these tanks produce an odor when to temp. The uvb fixture is really cheap too, one of mine came damaged but dealt with it. As expensive as things are, I could have kept the fixtures to my glass tanks they were in and built my own. I'm extremely thankful that I was home and not away, because this could have been catastrophic!

Think before you screw
I like the size, but you need more detailed assembly instructions. I was able to figure it out, but it was a little frustrating, there were plenty of times I could have really messed it up, and there are still a couple tiny screws I don't know what they're for.

Excellent builb quality and easy to assemble!
This enclosure was extremly easy to assemble and everything is exactly as advertised. This is by far the best enclosure for the price! My juvenile boa constrictor is loving this enclosure! I would most definately recommend this enclosure, the layout is effective and the lock is helpful too.

Ehhhh
Its eh at best. No instructions ans requires alot of alterations to make livable for certain lizards. They hold heat and humidity almost too well it's like an oven. Takes forever to get the white foam pieces off the board. But not worth 300 that's for sure

Fantastic Product
I bought this for my newest family member, our bearded dragon. It arrived fast and was incredibly easy to assemble. The dragon loves it, as do I. It maintains heat way better than a glass aquarium. I am very pleased and would recommend to anyone. Great product.
