Useful and helpful multitool. Great Present
I bought two of these, one for my wife's key chain, where it fit quite well, and one to keep on the dining room table. It gets used for all sorts of things, including the obvious opening of boxes and plastic enclosures (the build in blade for that is wonderful), screwing and unscrewing, even occasionally the opening of a jar. It works very well for all those functions, I'm very pleased with it.

Awesome little tool, small flat head = Philips driver
I freakin love this thing! I’ve had one for over 3 years and it just now broke after some pretty heavy use. After it broke I bought another one right away. I have used every tool on this thing, something I can’t say for a lot of my other multi-tools. And the size is perfectly compact, slapping it on my key ring makes it so I’ve always got this thing with me. Also a little tool tip for this thing, the small flat head works extremely well as a Philips driver as well.

Small tool—Big Function
The Gerber Dime is impressively compact—it fits right on your keychain and barely weighs anything, making it perfect for everyday carry. The small blade is handy in a pinch, and the scissors are sharp enough for cutting thread or minor tasks. The included file seems a bit unnecessary at first, but I’ve actually used the tip to unscrew Phillips and Pozidriv screws, which is a nice bonus. As for the flathead, I mostly use it to pry open jars or paint cans, but it works fine for flatheads too.Holding the Dime feels good in the hand, and the bottle opener is conveniently placed on the outside for quick access—no fumbling required. My two favorite tools are the pliers and the package opener. The pliers are spring-loaded and make quick work of disassembling 3D printer parts, though the jaws don’t line up perfectly (a minor gripe). The package opener is a lifesaver: it cuts through clamshell packaging and boxes with ease, making it a real asset on the job site.Rounding out the toolset, the tweezers are surprisingly useful for everything from splinters to cleaning under my nails. The Dime is easy to open and close, and the tools snap into place securely. For the price, it’s hard to beat—just enough functionality in a package small enough to forget you’re carrying it.

Just right
Smaller than I thought, but, that's OK.Very likely to be in my pocket, rather than on my bench or in a drawer.Well made,a little oil and some open and closing makes it easier to open.

A Good Value
I have had one of these for several years. It is not meant for heavy duty, but is very handy for daily use such as removing clothing tags, opening packages as well uses for the pliers. Blade sharpness is not an issue. A good value, while realizing you are paying a small premium for a name brand

Super useful and compact LIGHT DUTY multi-tool
I’ve noticed a consistent theme with the negative reviews: unrealistic expectations. This tiny multi tool isn’t meant to fix your car or your garbage disposal, it’s meant for super basic light duty tasks like opening boxes, opening beers, or tightening a random loose screw. It’s small, lightweight, and has a keychain ring. The bottle opener is a permanent exterior feature and considering the whole thing isn’t much bigger than most keychain bottle openers, I’d buy several of the price point was lower. Spring loaded pliers with a wire cutter, spring loaded (mini) scissors, and even a thin pair of tweezers. This multi-tool actually sees more use than any of my other more heavy duty options because it fits easily into the small pocket above the main right pocket that all my jeans have. I use it more because I can carry it all the time and not notice it’s there. I’ve never attempted a heavy duty task better suited for a real wrench or pair of pliers, but for all the basic light duty stuff I think this was intended for, I’ve found it super convenient and versatile. Minor gripes: 1. The tweezers are so thin they are almost useless, but for pulling a splinter or something when you really need tweezers and probably aren’t carrying them, they are adequate. 2. The box opener tool seems pretty useless. I’d rather see another tool in its place since the knife blade works better for this task. 3. Like the original Gerber Suspension, I’d prefer two of the tools to have a little nub to open one handed instead of needing to use two hands including a fingernail.
