Leopard Jinhao Fountain Pen Medium Nib Big Heavy Pen & Refill Ink Converter Business Signature Collection Pen (Gold)

I have always been captivated by art in the technical configuration of writing instruments. Previously way out of my inflation tattered funding for, and I hate to say it, non essentials. The examples of “high”-art pens would be in the Pelikan and Mont Blanc sculptured instruments.Bang !! A sculptured instrument in the less than thousand dollar range. Less than 100; less than 50; and after my purchase (or because of my purchase) less than 20 dollars.Easy to fill with the “converter” but light on capacity.It looks like nib replacement will be possible without paying the $500 gold-nib price quoted for a Pelikan 800 series nib. More like the 3 for $20 range.Anyway it was love at first sight and I have trouble now keeping my nib covered.Thanks

The Jinhao, Zoohot, dragon pen is wrong in so many ways. It's too heavy to write with easily, the stainless steel nib is very stiff and the design of the pen is, let's face it, absurd. That being said, I love it. I bought the red and black versions. The dragon in both versions has gleaming, red, glass eyes. The pen is built like a battleship. It feels indestructible, and the finish on this all metal pen is flawless. I don't know how such an elaborately detailed pen can be so inexpensive. If you want a pen for taking copious notes, this probably isn't it, but if you want a pen that is really really cool, I urge you to get this one. You'll never find a better bargain.

I've only had this pen a few days, but I'm in love with it. The nib works great and writes smooth, my Parker ink works just fine without any jamming or too much flow. Its got some heft to it, but I like that it feels substantial in my hand.My husband got this as a gift for me, and its far better than my cheaper moonman fountain pens, I recommend this pen many times over.Update:I've had this pen for about six months now, I still adore it, I've dropped it a couple of times and it's held together just fine - one ear got a slight dent when it fell against the patio concrete and I had to glue the eye back in on one side. Great, sturdy pen, but I do feel like the converter could be a little better. I have a universal replacement that I may try if the original one gives way.I'd still ask for this pen as my birthday gift any day of the week though.

This is the most well balanced and perfect pen for all you writers out there. This is the second one I have owned the last one lasted me five years. Thank you for the best craftsmanship in a pen that I ever had the privilege to write with.

I ordered a red and silver pen but the pen I received is gold with green stones for dragon eyes on the cap. It is a very heavy pen and so not suitable for legnthy writing for me. It is more of a conversation peice or a desk decoration. That said, it does write smoothly so could be useful for short notes or signatures. I ordered another style red and silver dragon pen that appears to be lighter so I will keep this one. I find it amusing.

This pen is beyond gorgeous better than what I expected. I love my older pen but this one is thick, heavy made of metal and the color is ideal for this style pen. Easy to refill for many years of use. Writing is bold smooth yet elegant with the right ink. So many compliments on this pen. Definitely a pen you keep on you and not lose sight of. When you do use this pen it will catch people's attention so be prepared to show it off.

I love the look and feel of this pen. Its heavy and beautiful. However the dragon which is the cap is darker than the rest of the pen. It writes well.. Which is suprising. I have other jinhao pens that are only eye candy. Im using beiluner cartridges. Its a great value so Im not mad at all. Good purchase however the cap doesnt fit on the back of the pen.. If thats a big deal.. Its not for you.

This is the most absurd pen I have ever seen, and that's why I love it. You do not buy this as a daily writer, you buy it as a statement, and does it ever make one. Yes, the thing weights a ton and the nib leaves a line that resembles a felt tipped marker, but even people who don't care about pens at all can't help but comment on the cool pen. I like it so much I'm planning on buying a better quality, finer nib for it to make it more usable.

Weighing in at around 100 gm., this is a pen for the larger hand. But what a pen! Striking good looks accompany a butter-smooth writing point with excellent ink flow. You can use either international standard ink cartridges, or the ink color of you choice using the provided converter.While of course the Dragons will write whatever you want, they're happiest signing Really Important Documents and writing deep novels.They haven't so far set anything on fire I didn't want them to. That they've told me about.

This thing weighs a ton, but its well built and writes great. The nib is better than some of my £100+ pens.

Really beautiful. But heavy. More for the fun than for everyday use
