I've ordered maybe 4 or 5 pieces of leather looking for the right thickness and texture. This is by far the best of the bunch. Soft and pliable. But still thick and durable. The pebbled texture is exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be ordering more in the future.

I have a leather crafts shop and use the 12x24" sheets for one of my best selling pieces, so I go through a LOT of it. I'm often ordering 3-4 several times a week. It is consistent, with a smooth, flawless grain side, and a smooth, suede like backing with minimal grain sticking up. I occasionally get a piece that is very fuzzy on the back, and oil tanned leather doesn't burnish well, so I know I can smooth it out with Tokonole gum but over time it will get 'hairy' again. So I just send those pieces back - these are the thickness I need them to be, so I can't skive them any thinner to smooth them out when this happens, but again, it's rare. From what I've found on Amazon (and I've tried most out), this is the best quality and most consistent. Highly recommend!
