Profile Design Universal Aero Drink Bracket

There's a great 3rd-party installation video for this product that starts with a careful listing of all of the things that come with it and then the presenter says: now throw them away. This product is really simple to install if you just use four zip-ties, and once you do it's rock solid and a great design as are the bottles. Reasonably priced too. If you've never used an aero-bottle before, you'll find that you drink a lot more--especially when you're tired and it seems like a real effort to pull your water bottle and change positions to drink. Cap is set up so you can grab a bottle at transition and just squeeze the contents into the aero-bottle.

My aero bars are a bit further apart that most; so I needed a mounting kit and this worked excellent!Be blessedParker

Nothing special about this bracket other than to say it successfully holds your Profile Design Aerodrink. It holds both the original Aerodrink and the slimmer Aqualite. The instructions are basically worthless, be prepared to do some headscratching, particularly with the big rubber bands. (I actually didn't even use them) Installation will vary depending upon your brand/style of aerobars. On my pre-2010 Easton Attack bars, I had to mount it underneath the aerobars and it fits well.That said, it does it's job - it holds the bottle well.

Pro's: It holds the bottle secure. It does the job it was designed to do and is compatible with my Profile Design T3 clip-on aero bars.Con's: The printed instructions are piss poor. I actually went online and downloaded the pdf. document instructions. This allowed me to zoom in on the pictures which were worthless none the less. Once I got over my frustraton and used some common sense, it was east to mount.Not such a con but not a pro: The front velcro strap that holds the bottle in could have used better engineering. It is difficult to thread through with the bottle in, but once you have it in it will hold it secure.

I like how this is sturdy and holds everything tight in place. It also includes a few different types of fasteners which is nice so you have options depending on how you want it. It passed the test on multiple 100 mile rides, some with VERY bumpy roads.

I switched to the Profile Design system set-up after having use the XLab Torpedo system. My biggest issue with the XLAB was that even when you thought it was secure, the system still slide. I don't have that problem with this system, and it was much easier to set up.A tip about setting this up, though. Don't use the mounting materials they give you. Use zip ties instead. It's easier and more secure.

So this bracket holds the Profile Design bike flask between your aero bars. It is a little complicated and hard to fit to the bike. Depending on your aero bar with it has spacers to accommodate (up to a point). There are velcro ties that also hold it in place. What I found is that depending on the positioning of the bracket hinges (very hard to see in the Amazon picture) it could be placed lower or up higher (i.e. so the bracket hangs below the level of the aero bars or raises above them). For my bike it did require some fiddling to get them just right; however, that being said: once it is fitted you are done messing with it even if you dont ride with a bottle from time to time. there is no need to remove it and it is not in the way. It is durable and the velcro straps stop it from moving around. There is also velcro tape that is placed on the bracket and on the bottle to secure the bottle onto the bracket but honestly this is futile because you will be removing the bottle frequently and the velcro tape will not withstand the "abuse". To combat that it does come with some industrial strength rubberbands that also assist in securing the bottle to the bracket.All in all a decent piece of gear but one for those who know what they want.

Took a little fiddling with it to get it mounted properly - not too high or low. I followed previous reviewers advice and used ties rather than the velcro straps provided. Working great so far. Very reasonably priced and fits perfectly. Highly recommend.

Muy bien. Sencillo de montar, aunque las instrucciones que trae son de risa. Una tarjeta de visita con un código qr que ni siquiera te lleva al producto sino a las instrucciones de todos, teniendo que buscar el tuyo. Un poco pobre ese detalle.

Wie beschrieben geliefert und das schnell und gut verpackt... Habe ihn bei zwei Wettkämpfen benutzt und bin sehr zufrieden mit ... immer wieder gerne :)
