The media could not be loaded.  This is a decent sized box of grass seed for the price. I also like that it's coated to help it germinate.The coating is also supposed to stop birds eating it, but the local pigeon clearly didn't read the box. Within half an hour of it being out down to cover a thin area of grass that was sown late last year, He was mooching around and having a good old meal.Fingers crossed this grass seed works. I've recently down grass on another area, however it ended up a little patchy due to uneven soil and taking a while to come through.I'll be sure to update my review once it's grown.Sown on 07/05/21...watch this space.

Likes - Fast growing, birds don't seem to be that interested in it. Should be quite hard wearingDislikes - The blades of grass are quite thick from this particular seed.Conclusion - Best to over-seed as well with a Multi-purpose seed or a finer Rye grass seed for a lusher lawn.

I found this grass germinated in late autumn, last year, and in early April very easily, however, be aware this grass has a wide blade and may stand out if you are patching a lawn. I found it good in places where fine grass may struggle due to excessive shade or heat.

Took a while to get going but now growing away nicely. Not so sure about birds not liking the seeds, as I had a pigeon walking around on it pecking away! Need to wait and see how well its going to cover the area that I seeded, it's a bit sparse but only been about a week since I saw the first blades coming through.

Only been down 8 days,yet to show any sign of growth,but at least its not to the birds taste.

Initially used a weed, feed & moss killer product and found most of my lawn died! Used this seed along with other products to seed & feed what was left and it worked! Was lucky to have plenty of sunshine and rainy days and after a week or so the patches started to fill, a month later and it looks great. You need patience to wait for it to take, I also added with some compost to help it rather than sow directly into the ground and this helped to stop the birds eating all the seed too.

Started using end of September 2022. Prepared soil and followed instructions. Germinated in about two weeks but only a few blades grew and then even after not cutting the area and watering as per instructions. Birds stayed away. I must say we are on clay but I planted into compost so it had a decent start. I won’t buy again.
