Yes, first and foremost, I can understand the frustration people are having with this.I took it out without realising there was a manual in the box, it had slipped under the side. I got nothing. I could not use it, and that's not an exaggeration. I managed just about to set the time and use the compass, but nothing else.Upon returning home and reading the manual, it was clearer, but not clear. You have to pretty much look at it as a puzzle, that has to be solved. Navigating it is a bit like an old text adventure, You meet a troll. There's a path to the north and east.I'll give some spoilers though. The two left buttons can be long pressed. the two right ones have no long press purpose. The clock page is the key to the settings, and the compass page, if you press the right buttons it will take you to some pages you won't find by changing normally with the left buttons. Yeah, I know.That said, and I get it, it's 2020, we ought to have better user interfaces, but if you figure out the menus, it is actually pretty good. You can set up to 9 waypoints and it will guide you back to them. You can also see how far up or down you have gone, and it can be set to beep after a custom number of metres. It also records min/max temperature and humidity. It's also a torch.What it doesn't do that I would like, well, you can't set waypoints in advance from coordinates.Also the battery life doesn't seem great. Easily fixed though, just carry a powerbank if you're out for more than a couple hours.I'm going to say in summary that I would find it an absolute nightmare if I was lost and only had this to guide me. However, as a fun piece of kit for general non critical use...it's, well, fun.At time of review the price seemed sort of high I guess. I mean, the branded ones cost about what, double, but they have lcd screens with proper maps on and all sorts. This is way more basic.I still have no idea what the weather thing is for though. Does it change? You set it yourself. Why?

The media could not be loaded.  Hi, I was wondering around and read through many reviews of this product, as its robust, simple, great design and functions. So I got it. On the video you will find 1) altimeter doesn't work properly at all, as the gadget was on the table ND not moving at all, as you could see the distance / longitude is changing, also the parameters of the altitude without any movement. 2) the battery was going down from 3 bars to 2 bars in 20 minutes ( only altimeter function was on). 3) the time was flicking to different date and time 3 times...I am really in doubts, that this will survive the return trip to anywhere serious, also I couldn't rely on it, even sitting without any movement in a flat...

I really want to like this product as it fills a variety of niches at a very affordable price point.The power plug has proven somewhat of an issue in my unit. It doesn’t want to solidly fit my power adapters but it does work, after a fashion.Overall, I would not hesitate to buy again!

No set up instructions, no operation manual, no charging lead. No online tutorial videos, unless you speak Chinese. How are you meant to use this piece of rubbish! Spent an afternoon trying to get it to work. Now in recycle bin!

A very poorly made item.It looks and feels very poorly made, not something you would want to rely on in the field.The instructions are printed on a small leaflet and are not very helpful at all. I found it very difficult to understand how to set it up and use it.The charging cable was very difficult to fit.Far too expensive for the quality.

This is just impossible! It's battery life is just terrible as no soon as you have charged it up it just seems to die. Also when switched on none of the readings stay put and are forever changing, so the whole thing just cannot be used at all which is really frustrating. It's like there us some malfunction somewhere!!
