URO PartsBEC19939 Skid Plate

Identical to the original...
Exact fit and identical to the original. Be warned though, if you have a Jaguar and pull into your basic American driveway every day, this is going to get beaten up again very quickly... it's the nature of the beast. Also, stay clear of those parking curbs, they are usually what pulls these off after they've been cracked a few times. So, this being my second one, I'm waiting until I get new front suspension springs in my 1996 XJ6 before installing a new under tray again... might help a bit. The last one stayed in place for about 3 years... longer than I expected actually.

Jaguar XJ6 Undertray
This URO aftermarket part is a perfect fit for my 1996 Jaguar Vanden Plas. The fitment alert states that this part will not fit my model but the VDP has the same front bumper dimensions as the XJ6. A factory fit. Great quality part. I only recommend the separate hardware kit if you have a pop riveter with a 5/32" mandrel. Mine only has up to a 1/8" mandrel. I used aluminum pop rivets with backing washers. Speed nuts and screws also work fine. Just fit the nut over the end of the tang on the bumper. If your bumper lost the attachment tangs with the old undertray then don't bother at all with the hardware kit. You can attach the tray to the bottom edge of the plastic bumper with sheet metal screws. Drill undersized holes for a tight fit and use some glue or Ultra Blue type compound to help secure the screws. You would hate to have one go through a tire.

Splash Guard for 1997 Jaguar XJR
5 Star rating. Cost effective foreign parts replacement even with small $25 installation cost by my mechanic. He opted to go with his own screws as opposed to the recommended fasteners.
