Can someone help how long do you hold the power button in to turn the head set off i cant get it to shut down

You have to hold power button and control button at same time for about 3 secs to turn it off. I hope this helps

No your not. Everytime I've struggled to the point I didn't charge it. I've since bought a new helmet of better quality, and fitted a Bluetooth headset my self, that you can take off the helmet with ease, and charge anywhere you want with the helmet.

I can only hear on one side of helmet is this a fault?

it depends on the audio source mono or stereo that the helmet is connecting to, try it with other devices
