I'm a 21 year old woman with sensory processing issues which causes pain and discomfort when I hear certain noises.These help muffle loud sounds, and can help cancel out lower, bothersome, sounds.They fit comfortably, however, I do wish that they muffled sound just a bit more. I can hear almost everything with them on, it's just slightly muffled; if someone is talking to me, I can hear and understand everything they say.With that said, they do help when the landscapers are working and when I have to go out into a noisy environment. I actually slept through an alarm with these on.Overall, these are great for babies, kids, and adults with hearing sensitivity. However, if you are extremely sensitive to noise, you might need to consider ones that muffle/cancel noise at a better decibel.

Two of my kids have been diagnosed with autism with all the accompanying sensory processing disorders. This is my 5th time ordering these ear muffs. Not because they don't hold up, but because they are a life saver and I need a pair for each kid for everywhere they go - a house pair, a car pair, a school pair, an OT pair, etc. (Go ahead and tell me my kids should learn to keep track of their belongings - I could use the laugh.)In my experience, my boys can still hear me well enough when I talk to them while they wear these, but the background noise is muffled and therefore less painful and distracting.Have recommended and would recommend again to a friend.

Got these for my monster truck obsessed 3 year old to wear at a monster truck event and they were perfect. Could not have made it through that with out them. They are very sturdy and should last through the next several monster truck shows.

Got these for daughter who has autism. They fit perfect on her, she is 6 years old. With plenty of room to grow. They block out loud noises nicely. She is now able to be in loud environments without having a meltdown. Great product, would recommend to anyone who has kids with ASD, or a sensory processing disorder!!

This is my second purchase. I got the 2nd one for my brother's 1yo son. I bought my first over a year ago for my two kids who were 6 and 9 at the time. They share a room and bed times can be a pain. One is ready to sleep and the other one is making some kind of noise or chatty. Using this helped give us more peaceful nights. As a mother of 4 kids I need it. Surprisingly, there was an added benefit for me. I use it myself too. I'm usually the last to fall asleep but there are times my husband wants to keep watching TV and the noise just disturbs my sleep. I pop these right on and I am a happy camper. They are very comfortable and durable. While they don't totally block out sound, a good amount is reduced. I just wish they had these when I had my first kid. My oldest is 18 now but he was the most sensitive when it comes to sounds. When he was little he used to cover his ears when you flush the toilet. He could not tolerate being in public places or parties. He would be upset when the buzzer would go off at basketball games. He was easily awoken by noises. This is a must for parents who have kids with sensory issues.By the way, I was a pediatric occupational therapist up until I had my fourth child when I decided to put my career aside. I had almost 20 years experience in the field but I'll spare you all with a technical review and just say that for any mother this item will save you lots of grief. It seems to be well made as I have no problems with it whatsoever despite all the use we have gotten from it.

Perfect for my son at a nascar race. Fits 18 month old just fine. Would fit smaller child or older too, as it expands.

We ordered these headphones for our toddler grandson so he could be outside while his grandfather was operating power lawn equipment. Soon after receiving them, we gave them five stars and wrote a nice review. After our grandson wore them briefly on only a few occasions, they broke. If you'll look carefully at the accompanying photos, you'll see that the ear pieces are connected to the headset by a tiny, weak plastic joint. We are disappointed to have wasted our money. We would certainly not buy this product again nor recommend it to others.

I wear these while mowing. I got the green ones, so the lawn wouldn't see me coming. I use them with earbud headphones so I can listen to me favourite podcast while mowing without deafening myself. So far so good.Update: We've purchased another 2 pair for our toddlers to wear when flying in a small plane. My green ones are still holding up after a couple of years of sweaty yard work. Unless you're planning on working in a Tuba testing plant* these are great.*Disclaimer: I've never worked in a Tuba testing plant, they might work just fine there as well.
