A very high-quality OEM replacement.
While definitely not a "performance" part, this MSD cap and rotor kit is definitely better quality than OEM or generic parts store components. Both pieces fit perfectly on an early GM (Pontiac in my case) points-style distributor. The rotor is much thicker and obviously better insulated than the stock piece. The cap is also well made with nice brass contacts on the underside and my plug wires fit the sockets nice and tight. There are two different lengths of screws with washers included in the kit to mount your rotor with instructions on which to use for your application. Don't expect extra horsepower from these parts but they are of very high quality and look great. The only issue I have is with the points window, which seemed stuck shut. I didn't mess with it as I'm using an optical ignition trigger but I did notice that it was extremely tight.

returned cap as it was not usable as listed. requested return, return was delivered on the 8/24/22. still no refund 8.30.22, will not be buying from this vendor again.

I chose this due to its simularity to the original which is no longer available, it also exceeds the OEM specs for this part. It was priced below that of local parts stores and delivery was fast.
