There are two round snaps on the outside of the pockets. **Q: where is this product made in ?** A: The tag in mine says made in China. **Q: I read some reviews that say the leather bleeds onto clothes. Is that true?** A: Do you experience bleeding off of a new pair of shoes? No more bleeding than any other dyed leather product. To check when/if you get it just take a soft white cloth like an old t-shirt and try buffing the outside. That would show any "bleeding" and remove any excess dye/polish on the outside. **Q: Do you need to treat the leather to protect it from the weather?** A: Need to? For general use, no.
