Step Four Repeat steps one and two and ask the trainee to follow the hand washing techniques you have established and validated (length and technique of cleansing). Use the stop watch to ensure that the correct cleansing time and steps are taken. The trainee should see that only a few places glow under the UV light. **Complete removal of Glo Germ with normal washing is more difficult if the skin is chapped or cracked, indicating that bacteria is also harder to remove.
