Mom's Place Gluten FreeButtermilk Biscuit Mix Dairy-Free & Easy to Prepare Delicious and Healthy Biscuits for Breakfast, Brunch, or Dinner, Makes 8-9 Biscuits

I don't have a lot of experience with gluten free cooking/eating. But our teenage nieces moved in with us a few weeks ago (one of whom has Celiac Disease), and I've been making big Sunday dinners for us all to eat together. The goal was for the whole meal to be GF, without anyone realizing they were actually eating GF, so my niece could truly enjoy dining with family. As it should be! Daunting at first, but with each week, it's getting easier! I made a double batch of these biscuits for last night's dinner. I chose to go with the mashed potato variation (used Idahoan Buttery Homestyle). 2 biscuit mix packets yielded 15 moderately large biscuits - I used my 4oz scoop to measure the batter (heaping). I baked in ungreased parchment, and lighly patted each scoop into a rough traditional biscuit shape. They took longer to cook than the directions (but probably because they were large and because I was baking a casserole in the oven with them.) I pulled them out of the oven just as the tops started showing the faintest color. EVERYONE at the table raved about the biscuits (more than the meal! HAHA!) Not only did they taste AMAZING, but the texture was crisp on the outside and soft, fluffy, buttery on the inside. I came back to review these and buy a couple more bags, along with shopping more product from this GF line.

I made the biscuits for my husband who is GF, and they were the most Delicious GF Product I have ever bought! We are always disappointed by other brands! So if you’re looking for an amazing GF product the whole family can enjoy this is the product you NEED TO BUY! 100 STARS! I will only buy these products for now on! I just tried the pretzels and I put my homemade Italian Garlic butter on some and salt on others they were simply AMAZING! Thank you!!!!

These GF biscuits turned out really scrumptious. We enjoyed them alot, but they did require some work and additional ingredients like buttermilk and mashed potatoes. Still, they were really good and we could hardly believe they were GF!! 😊

Before finding this mix, we cold NOT find a biscuit that my husband could eat. Anything that was made allergen-friendly for him was hard, dry, or just didn't taste right. I really wanted to try a recipe that I had that called for biscuits. There are always new allergy-friendly options coming out so I'm always looking for anything that might make our live easier when it comes to meals. I found this and figured I'd give it a try.First of all, I am NOT a fabulous cook. I can cook - but it has to be simple. I like things with a few steps and a few ingredients. This was PERFECT for me. It was super easy to whip together and bake. They aren't super pretty by any means so I was nervous about them but they looked pretty much like the photo on the package. My husband is pretty used to the gluten-free taste but I'm a picky eater and usually just leave those items for him. I gave one of these a taste test just to make sure they were going to be something he would like and I LOVED them!!(Side note: I also tried the stroganoff mix in this brand and LOVED it as well!).This brand might just become a staple in my house.

worked just as the package and instructions stated good taste just a little pricey as all GF items are hopeful in the future prices for GF foods will come down as more is produced.

I found the package on the ground a few hours after delivery, torn during shipping. When I opened it, the package with the mix was also ripped open and had coated the inside of the packaging. Amazon does not allow returns on food, but they should allow for replacement.I had ordered 2 of these, and was able to make up the other package for those with dietary needs. Overall, the product was pretty good, all that ate them indicated they had great flavor and texture. The mix requires butter and buttermilk, and making them is much like mixing from scratch. The whole package makes around 8-9 biscuits, but the oven time was quite a bit longer than on the instructions.I feel that this product was good overall, but overpriced for 8 biscuits.
