Catan is an excellent board game for group play. It is easy to learn, but still very engaging and strategic, which makes it perfect for friends and family. Every game feels different, so it never gets boring. It encourages planning, negotiation, and interaction between players, which keeps everyone involved from start to finish. The quality of the board and pieces is very good, and setup is simple. This is a great choice for game nights and gatherings. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and interactive group game.

This game is FANTASTIC😭 it takes a little bit to get the hang of, but once you got it? YOU GOT IT! Played it with my family in Florida and I had to buy my own now that I’m back up north. It’s extremely fun to play and it is very creative and strategic. It’s a long game, you will not finish in 20 minutes so be ready to stay on the table for a while but it sure is fun

Catan is one of our favorite games to play with our friends and family. We've even purchased some of the expansions for it. Catan mixes strategy, luck, and persuasion to deliver a fun (and sometimes vengeful) experience. Make sure what happens in the game STAYS in the game or else friendships will be destroyed! I kid, but really, games can get really intense. Play time: ~1.5-2 hours Learning curve: Steep at first; but easier as you play Value: 5/5 Overall, this will continue to be one of our go-to's for board games.

We absolutely love this game—it’s become our favorite board game and keeps the kids engaged for over an hour! The product arrived in its original packaging, and my kids were thrilled to unpack it. Everything was included: cards, coins, and dice. My two children, ages 8 and 5, really enjoy playing, especially my 8-year-old. To start, we use the Catan generator, and the game works best with at least three players. Having a banker is a nice bonus. This game is great for developing critical thinking and decision-making skills in kids. We love playing together as a family and also with friends. The pictures in the instructions help explain the different colored coins and resource cards like grain, brick, sheep, and ore. Overall, I highly recommend this game—it’s a fantastic choice for family game nights and kids play dates!

We love the game and were simpler excited to get it. Sadly, our box came a little damaged. Crushed corners and the box was frayed.
