Best hooks ever. Glad I found them. They are stronger than you would expect. Remember they are nylon not plastic. Contrary to reviews I've read they do fit wall control steel peg boards. They snap in tight and you'll need to pry them off but they work great. The trick is to pull the "screw" out until installed and just push the "screw" in. To get it out pack it out with a screw driver till you can grip the head and pull it out. This procedure can be done dozens of times without damaging it at all.

They may be plastic (nylon) but they fit more securely and steadily than all the metal hooks I have. In all cases I am using them with metal pegboards having no thickness and also a metal pegboard with flanged holes having some thickness. I can safely assume they will work well with Masonite boards. The nylon seems pretty durable and has no problem holding heavy pliers, wire cutters, etc. The screw doesn't actually need to be screwed in to be pretty secure, however when you screw it in, the insert gets wider and is very tight. Removal isn't a big deal, unscrew the nylon bolt and maybe use a thin screwdriver to lift it up at first. For light-medium duty, I'll buy these again over the metal ones any day.

I had bought these quite a few years ago but found myself without them after, shall I say, an unplanned change in life. So I ordered them once again because the metal hooks I currently have frustrate me when they pull out of the pegboard. These nest securely in the pegboard holes, don't rust, and are surprising sturdy and durable. The smallest straight arms are very slim so I kept a few of my metal hooks of that shape, and also a few large round metal hooks for my heavy mallet. My favorite are the plier holders which I have never seen in metal. I recommend this product highly. The vendor shipped them promptly as promised.

I 100% agree with the other reviewer who points out that the screws do not unscrew properly but merely spin in place, making the hooks very difficult to remove. I had to pry the hooks out with a screwdriver and damaged my pegboard.

Okay ordered these to hang tools and the sizes just don't work for me. First there kind of flimsy, which by looking at them you can see. They do secure to the board with the screws. The real issue is, the long and short hooks do not fit the 1/4 inch holes and the tapered design holds stuff away from the peg board. The two round screwdriver pegs, will hold a screw driver, however they do not hold them straight. So, if you need a little more versatility, go with the good old metal peg board hooks. These are a good idea, but they are not engineered well. The old story, building a better mouse trap gone bad.

Huge improvement over traditional metal pegboard hooks. Favorably reviewed by ShopNotes magazine so I bought this variety pack, very pleased. They're very strong, and they definitely stay put. Exactly what I hoped they'd be. Will definitely buy more. Worth the money.

They seem to stay in the peg-board. I would give them a 5 star but the price is high for peg-board hooks.
