Beautifully hand-decorated gourd guiro from the Andes region in Peru. Since each guiro is handmade from natural materials, each instrument is unique - sizes and styles will vary. This guiro is capible of producing much more percussive sound than i had expected it also doubles as a rain sound and tripples as a shaker. Besides being beautifully decotated i am very pleased with this purchase.
