I thought I was ordering cases ?
I thought I was order cases not each ? So 76 dollars for three items ? They seems a little high? What was shipping? I was trying to order enough for free shipping?

One of the better vegetarian sausages around!
I grew up on a vegetarian diet, even though I am not vegetarian now, I still like to eat these plant based franks along with there other sausage products. Loma Linda has been around for years and I consider them the OG of fake meats along with their Aussie sister company Sanitarium Health Foods (yes I know they have different corporate owners now but they came from the same parent company and were both owned by the SDA church). I don't care about there religious background, what I do care about are healthier alternatives to just eating meat and something that is compatible with a low carb diet as many plant alternatives are carbohydrate laden. These ones fit the bill and happy to go back to a product that I grew up with but also trust.

IMPORTANT GENERAL INFO FOR VEGETARIANS !
( Skip to last paragraph for Loma Linda review) I was a vegetarian when I was 15 for about 1 1/2 years in 1973. ( I don't recommend vegetarianism unless you're very careful, or use the diets of societies such as India etc with long term vegetarianism. ) Basically I just quit eating meat, but didn't eat a carefully crafted balanced diet. My upbringing was in a dysfunctional and emotionally abusive home. I ended up in the deepest depression for 6 mos then trying to commit suicide. I took handfuls of my hypochondriac mom's drugs, had my stomach pumped, and was hospitalized a few days. They sent me to an expensive private insurance psychiatric hospital (I was relieved at that, I needed help ). The reason I say all this is because in the hospital cafeteria there I noticed it seemed like 1/3 of the residents were vegetarians ! Years later I found out that that fats are needed for serotonin production. The fats in meats are very important to that and you have to replace them in a balanced way as a vegetarian. VEGETARIANS, PLEASE RESEARCH THIS ! Oddly enough, later in the 80s or 90s the " experts " all came out recommending a low fat diet, but not stressing the importance of healthy fats during that time. That is exactly when Prozac came out and sales went through the roof ! Also depression became rampant and more mainstream. I can't help thinking that it was all somewhat intentional.... During Covid I kept craving hotdogs, so I tried these Loma Linda Linketts. You get 10 in a can, slightly shorter that regular Oscar Meyer type hotdogs. They kinda smell like hotdogs, even kinda taste like hot dogs...( how do they do that ?). The texture is closer to the hard tofu I'd guess. I tried them on bread with mustard and relish and a side of pork and beans. They were edible but I still craved real hotdogs, that didn't go away. Somehow I didn't find them very filling either. I believe it is because they have wheat and corn besides soy. The price is steep for my Disability income. When I was a vegetarian, I didn't look for nor eat meat replacement chicken, beef or pork, it seems silly to me, to each their own... Blessings all !

Son likes this for the Holidays, but this year he's going without at $18.18 for ONE can!
We have been eating these for years now. For my son, I have to get Shake N Bake. In more recent years, I have quit eating them since I'm eating a more vegan diet. I really wish I had the time and thought about getting this long before the Holiday. Life is busy and one forgets. Hopefully I can find a can locally that will be around $6. because I REFUSE to pay $18.18 for ONE can! (And it wouldn't be here in time for the Holidays anyway!)

Very good for Vegan Protein, dumped out the brine and refilled the jars with alkaline water
I loved everything about this product , I’ve been buying LL products since 2016 , amazing source of vegan protein (now I only buy the vegan options ) . I just purchased this item a couple days ago . It’s going to last me way longer than before due to food restrictions (RNY weight loss surgery ) 1 link is packed 11g protein that’ll last me for lunch and dinner .. so excited 😆

Yum!
I don’t know, maybe they’re an acquired taste, but I grew up eating them, and they’re my favorite veggie dogs ever. High in protein, and much lower in fat than regular hot dogs.

Always unique, always good!
I think if you grew up with these you'll instantly be taken back to the first time when you bite into one. I just wish I also didn't remember that they're always a little shorter than a hot dog bun.
