Redline Tune Quick Lift: One of the best "Mods" for my 21 Jeep Rubi
If you own a Jeep and often work under her bonnet, you'll share my frustration regarding the lack of hood struts. This goes along with the lack of a secure gas cap...non-locking, but that's another story. I ordered the Redline Struts for my 2021 Jeep Rubicon and received the kit in a few days. The struts, braces, etc were nicely packaged in a tube with colored install photos & large font instructions (much appreciated!). The parts were good quality and of course time will tell. The installation was simple with a ratchet/socket...about 20 minutes. The struts work perfectly and the only issue is releasing the struts if you want to rest your hood on the windshield. It's a simple snap on/off process and the rod end heads seem robust. Fair price, excellent product, simple install...I recommend this product.

Excellent Product!
I hate using the prop rod. It's always in the way. This a very rewarding product. I installed The Redline Tuning Hood QuickLIFT ELITE (Stainless) supports on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL. They installed perfectly in under 30 minutes(NO DRILLING). All that was needed is a 10mm socket and a ratchet handle. I found it helpful to lift the rubber clip out so the gasket doesn't get in your way, when installing the mounts into the hood. They easily push back into place once the shock support is in. They appear to be excellent quality.

Works great!
These are fairly easy to install, maybe 30 minutes. Instructions are good. I got the stainless ones and they look really nice. The important part is that they work perfectly. The only drawback is that if you want to lay your hood back against the windshield for any reason, it may be a bit difficult to release an end of each strut.

Much better than I expected!
This things are very cool. Takes a second to wiggle the hood latches into place but overall the install is very easy. They are very solid and I really like how the hood opens now. I hope they hold up to the winter temps.
