Too powerful
Avoid if you do not have a spoiler! These struts are a little too powerful. Without the spoiler, the trunk would open on its own once unlatched. Closing it with two hands was difficult. With the added weight of my spoiler, the trunk will still open on its own once you lift it the first few inches. Closing the trunk with one hand is still a struggle. I'm hoping that these will wear out soon, but at least it's an improvement over the old, dead ones.

Works great, great price.
It lifts the large hatch on the back of my 95 Eagle Talon TSI without any problems. Nice and smoothly as well. Closes easily. The hatch is pretty heavy, and these supports seem to be just right for the job. Had them for a few months now, still work like new as I would expect.
