Finally Clean Floors, No Scratches
I've been wanting a broom with a tall dustpan for sooooooo long. Using a regular broom and dustpan is so annoying, and my stick vac scratches the hardwoods. Finally gave in and got this broom, and I am very happy that I did. You know how dust manages to miss the dustpan and settle under the dustpan instead? That doesn't happen with this dustpan. It catches everything (so far), including dog hair, my hair, crumbs, even baby powder that I spilled. Two things that bother me, but not enough to get rid of this broom or give it a bad recommendation, are that the broom and dustpan are really, really short, and the dustpan is a bit difficult to empty. It is possible that I just haven't gotten the hang of it yet, but I can't get it to tip into the garbage can just right. I am super short, so the short height of the broom and dustpan isn't that bad, it just takes more force to use them. My husband has to bend to use it, but at least he uses it!

The best dustpan! BUT!!! The broom is too short for me. I'm 5 foot 3.
This is totally a personal preference thing. The broom and dustpan are of great quality. I'm 5 foot 3 inches and the broom is too short for my preference. The dustpan, on the other hand, is absolutely fantastic. The reason the broom is too short is that the bristles of the broom are fairly tough, to get a good give while sweeping I need quite a bit of power to push the broom against the floor. As such, it hurts my wrists to put so much pressure to move the broom forward. I do want to caveat that my wrists do give me problems in other activities. So, I guess if you have arthritis or hypermobility, this might not be the broom for you. I just replaced the broom with one that has a long pole and I am very satisfied. I need a longer pole so I can brace it against my upper arm to move the broom with force forward and backward. I'd actually buy this product again, just for the dustpan though.

2nd one I have bought.
First one has been in the house for ten years parked by the litter box and still going strong. It has a good broom and great dust pan. Dustpan fits flat to floor and one sweep and you are done. Cheap China thing I bought for kitchen has frayed straws and the pan doesn't fit flat to the floor so you wind up wiping up a dirt line every time you use it.

This works decently, just a standard broom and dust ...
This works decently, just a standard broom and dust pan. 2 issues:1. The dust pan doesn't stay open so as soon as you lift it up, it closes making it a bit difficult to empty contents into a trash bag.2. The broom is short! I am 5'2 and it doesnt have the maneuverability that a longer broom would have.

:(
The broom has extremely STIFF bristles. Used this broom for 2 weeks then the pan broke off the handle. I would never purchase this again.

Dust pan 5 star. Broom is too stiff.
Dust pan on this is great! It flattens to the ground and everything sweeps easily right into the cavity. Love that I can use this without teaching all the way to the ground. The broom is so stiff that it misses a lot, even if I try to make several passes.

Warped Dust Pan
The lip on the dust pan is laughably warped. This is as functional as a square wheel. I find it hard to believe that such a simple conception could be manufactured so incorrectly.

it would be perfect!
So I know that this is a very basic broom and pan, but the handles are so short! I'm not a very tall person, avg one might say (5' 7"), but I have to lean over just to use the broom. If it were a foot longer, it would be perfect!
