Great book for anger issues , especially with hurtful words
This book is great , my son likes to tell me he doesn't love Me anymore, really upsets me , it's okay to mad , but it's not ok to be mean is the main idea of the book, and that he says you are not my friend , when that's not true, demonstrates how in anger can blow up at our friends and get them all wet and rain on their parade . Man some days are just hard. When we have a really bad day we read this

Great story, my boys love it, great moral too!
I bought this book a few days ago. My boys, 2.5 and 5 years old, absolutely love it. We talk about it as we read, nice illustrations, and they really listen to me now when I say "it's ok to be mad, but not ok to be mean." I am ordering more now to give as gifts, as well as the bug book too. (My boys are asking for the stuffed kimochis as well, but those will wait until Christmas!)

Great for guidance lessons!
I am an elementary school counselor and I have used this book for K-4! It is easy to tailor lessons based of the plot of this book. I love making my students repeat the quote "It's okay to be mad, but it's not okay to be mean," and really dig into other things we can do when we get mad. My students LOVE the book.

I really liked this story
I really liked this story, very well written and works well with the Kimochi characters that we have. The kids can relate very well to Cloud who swings between happy, sad and mad.

Favorite book!
This is my granddaughter's favorite book. She requests it each night and frequently talks herself through emotions with the language of the book. She's almost 3 years old. I just ordered another book in the series.

Adorable, and a great lesson
We bought this for my son (who loves his Kimochis) and we did not regret it. A great story about how your feelings / actions can impact others - important lesson for any young child. Did I mention adorable?

Great Book!
As a SLP, I go into general education classrooms for Kimochi lessons weekly. So the students are familiar with the kimochi characters. Students loved hearing about cloud!

excellent message in this story
"it's ok to be mad, but it's not ok to be mean" - every child should have this story read to them. It is a beautiful way of teaching children such a simple but valuable lesson.
