When you buy cherry wood pellets, the VAST majority of the time, it will be a mix with cherry wood only being a minority of the wood in the mix. Using a wood mixture keeps ash down, but muddles the flavor. Cherry is a mild and sweet flavor. This is my very favorite brand and bag of pellets to use for smoking chicken and pork. After all the time you spend selecting the best cut of meat, injecting it, and getting up during the night to tend that pork shoulder, you don’t want to have skimped on subpar pellets. I highly recommend Lumberjacks 100% cherry.

Awesome pellets

I highly recommend Lumberjacks 100% cherry.

Used lumberjack pellets for years and it always works well in my smoker! Very pleased with it and I would recommend!
