Works with Tiny Droplet of Blood Fast
I was just recently told that my A1C test was in the diabetic range. So, I purchased a CVS glucose meter and test strips. I don't have anything to compare it too, but it is really easy, takes a minuscule amount of blood and works fast.

CVS Health Advanced Glucose Meter is not accurate
My blood sugar tested high at my regular oncologist appointment, so my primary care doctor wanted me to buy a glucose meter and collect a couple of weeks of fasting and non-fasting readings. Every single one came back high with the CVS glucose meter. But when the doctor tested it fasting at his office, it was actually normal and 31 points lower the same morning! This meter caused me a lot of anxiety by misleading that my blood sugar was continuously high. My A1c from the same fasting lab work taken at my doctor's office was actually perfect. I am returning this meter for a refund. Just check where it is manufactured to see why it is so inefficient.

CVS diabetic equipment is GARBAGE
These things are inaccurate as all hell. And any cvs device used to read them is just as bad. Two different strips will read a discrepancy of up to a 100!!!! These thinga have made my last week a diabetic roller coaster of hell. Avoid at ALL COSTS

Inconsistent readings!
No consistency between readings and useless. Wrong high readings.

Deceptive--Glucose meter does not include test strips
The glucose meter does NOT come with test strips--- meaning that you have to drive out again to CVS (a 12 mile drive for me)--- and purchase the strips for another $12. This is deceptive marketing at its best. The instructions that come with the product are difficult to read and understand, and I already opened the lances looking for the test strip -- meaning now I cannot return the $18 glucose meter.. Please clean up your act, CVS-- before people lose trust in your products and shady marketing techniques. You could start with putting a bathroom in your stores......

At this moment I have 7 holes in my fingers and didn't get a single good reading. Error 2 every time
I purchased the monitor and these test strips today. Wasn't excited about it, but I needed to know if my sugar was low. At this moment I have 7 holes in my fingers and didn't get a single good reading. Error 2 every time. So now I wasted all these lancets and test strip...not to mention the stress of "pulling the trigger" each time. Granted, the pain isn't bad, it isn't worth it if you have to do it multiple times. Avoid this. Oh, and on top of that, the "24 hour help line" doesn't answer. I got it at CVS, but it is going back.
