I like these better than the offical Arduino!!
Works great. Love the foot print. The only thing that could make it better is if it has a USB-C connector vs the Mini-USB connector. Not really a big issue, but USB-C seems to be taking over the world so not having to have special cables would be nice.

Small but mighty! Great product but took some work to start.
Great board and works great. I tried several micro USB cables before I found one that worked with the device. When you first plug it into the computer, if the OS does not recognize the com port you will need to try another cable until you find one that works. Either I have a several faulty cables or not all Micro USB cables are wired the same. Anyway it took me some time to get the cable right to program it but once i got it programming it is a very nice device. So i give it 5 stars for now until I use it more but so far it's great. :)

Works well.
I'm an artist working with interactive pieces that require reliable electronics within my ability to program. I've used Arduinos for years and have mostly developed on a Mega then produce the work using a Pro Mini configured with whatever I need for what it's doing because of the price tag of the traditional Mega and the fact that they are difficult to come by without having headers soldered in. I cannot attest to this boards durability since it is the first one I have installed but I really like the form factor for production as well as the headerless state - especially for the price. It's more comprehensive, has USB onboard as well as the capabilities of the MEGA. The only drawback is mention in earlier reviews - it is VERY particular about what cords in works with - there doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason to what it accepts and what it doesn't. I have one set aside now labelled just for it so that I don't have to go through THAT again. I'll try and update this when I finish and install this project if there is more to note but so far I'm quite happy and am going to order several more so I have them for work to come. I'm not going to knock a star off for the USB pickiness but I do wish it was a little easier.

Mostly reliable
I ordered 2 units, one seemed to be unreliable and eventually stopped working. The other was fine. A later order of 4 more, all seemed to be fine. I am not sure what was wrong with that one unit. Seems to work as expected for an Arduino compatible product. Given the high degree of integration on the board, I do wonder why the header pin sets come loose and require the user to attach them.

The compact size is awesome for prototyping.
I used this to make a transmission controller prototype. It’s been working for about a year now with no issues. It’s much smaller than Arduino 2560 and there’s no pre installed headers so it makes permanent mounting to a prototype board much easier.

Awesome little board.
I love these Mega Pro Mini boards. They work well with Mobiflight as well as the Arduino IDE.I haven't had a single problem with these. As long as my old eyes can see good enough to solder the headers, I will continue to use these.Great price for an awesome board.

Functions well as an Arduino Mega equal
I used this to mount inside a 32 x 64 pixel LED panel display bought from Adafruit. It worked perfectly for this use, to make a display that was only 3/4" thick. I would not recommend this for beginners. It requires add-ins to the Arduino IDE programming software. Connecting to the pin headers requires custom plugs and cables (from Pololu), or custom ribbon cables, or wire wrap connections. Additional power regulators are often required. Having said this, this little device is a clever substitute for the much larger Mega when you have little space to work with.
