This remote is basically plug and play. Add the batteries and you're good to go. Just make sure you check out what model it matches to your tv.

Buy it works great
Works great, all I had to do is put working battery in the remote and point at the TV.Before you purchase any remote make sure the model number on your tv reflects the model number in the listing for the remote!

Works perfectly with my new "Sharp" 65" Roku TV
Works perfectly with my new "Sharp" 65" Roku TV, model # LC-65Q7330UI quote sharp because it seems to really be made by Hisense, even if it is branded as Sharp.I also just ordered a 2nd one because the 3 of 4 extra buttons at the bottom of this remote are services I actually use, vs. the original remotes 1 of 4.

Speed and delivery
This is coming very helpful having young children that lose controls for TVs. It’s a good replacement for our previous remote.

No good
Do not buy. It does not work and my TV model is listed as one of the models it is supposed to work with. I ended up going to Best Buy and buying the Harmony universal remote and it works like a charm. It is also good, because you can add many devices on it if needed.
