not sure on thickness in MM but used for an outdoor festival as a barrier for food and beverage to protect white plastic tables and they worked out well for the price. remember one still has to secure to tables if wind is a factor Craig

I returned the product. Thin and cheap!!! The roll is 27 inches wide. Guessing you have to unfold it. Don’t waste your money

Yes, one layer did the trick when I tried. I guess you'd have to test it out to see if it gives you the darkness level that you're looking for specifically. In my experience, the seller cares about satisfaction guaranteed, so worst-case scenario, if you're not happy with the product, you can always return it. However, I do think it's worth a try.
