The Carhartt men's ripstop line provides durability with reinforced threads that are interwoven into the cloth creating unique fabric strengthening properties and comfort by being lightly sanded on the inside for maximum softness and convenience with all styles having large roomy pockets. The tradesmen pockets have easy angled pen slots. The solid top has one tradesmen pocket at chest.

Front waistline is too short
I wear an xxl top in all shirts. I am 6'3" 230-235 broad shoulders. The front of these shirts are too short yet the backs are super long lol. I get the back length for bending over but whats up with making it short in the front?? Makes no sense. So far after 1 wash the blue shortened about 1/4" in length which is alot considering its already too short. I laid a washed one on top of an unwashed one. It currently fits but if it shrinks anymore its going on feebay. The black top was so short I returned it. Black came above my pant line like it was an xl lol. Yet again the back was super long. Designers fell asleep on these. The pewter top is pretty much the length of the blue and is ok. Overall VERY comfortable thick top compared to my dickies scrubs. I really like these. They need 1 1/2 inches added to the front length. No I dont have a gut so that rules out any draw up in length. Maybe make a tall version of these? Then again the way the back is designed you would look like a conductor.

then Aviators (very sturdy, but expensive)
I have worn scrubs for 25 years. I used to use Landau, then Aviators (very sturdy, but expensive), but switched to Dickies about 4 years ago because my hospital mandated a certain distributor for their logo. I actually like them a lot for softness, fit, and durability. Unfortunately, 3 of drawstrings on the pants broke within a week, and I decided to try something else.I'm 5'11" 190 and wear an XL in Dickies, and took the advice to switch to L in these. Well the Carhartts are still too big - essentially in the abdomen - so much that I feel like I am wearing a maternity top. Another issue is the something with the neck opening that just doesn't look right when on me even with the shoulders lining up right at seam. I got the matching pants, and I love them. The material on these is sturdy and seems comfortable. I will see what these are like after I have them altered, but out of the bag they are definitely for more robust individuals...

The Best Choice I've Ever Made
I have been wearing scrubs for five years and have found them to be too thin and easy to wear a hole in or rip. I finally decided to stop being cheap with myself and buy these higher quality scrubs. I got more than I expected and am very pleased. The material is strong. The design and fit are well tailored. Love the way this top looks on me. A very clean cut lines. The absolute best brand of scrubs I have ever invested in. Never going back to cheaper brands. "The Best Choice I've Ever Made."

shopping for scrubs is difficult at best. I've been wearing the rip-stop line from Carhartt ...
Firstly, I am a male. As my male compadres know, shopping for scrubs is difficult at best. I've been wearing the rip-stop line from Carhartt for 3 years now and like them a lot. I've never had a problem with stitching coming unbound (in the tops) and they hold up to the harshest working conditions that healthcare (and the washing machine) can throw at them. I am an RN and am constantly bending, pulling, squating, lifting, walking, running, and maintaining awkward poses in order to get the job done. These scrubs have been very stain resistant. I buy 3 new pair approximately every 18 months (mainly just to keep a professional non-faded appearance.) My only complaint (and the reason I give this product 4 stars rather than 5) is "breathability." These scrubs are a dense and heavy (work) material. If you're a hot-body like me, they can be a bit warm in the summer time. But, overall the carhartt quality is exceptional. For the record I've worn dickies, grey's anatomy, and cherokees at other times in my career. These carhartt's stand out as my favorite.

Great Quality But Too Hot
Upon arrival I really liked this product. It is a heavy material with just a slightly larger fit. Personally I like having a little extra room. The color hasn't faded at all through several washings. I like the small pen pocket though it still doesn't stop me from losing mine within the first hour of my shift. My only problem with this scrub top is it doesn't breathe in the slightest. I generally run warm and when things get hectic at work I'm stiflingly hot and sweating profusely. This doesn't happen in other scrubs so I will be replacing these with my usual scrubs that fade quickly but don't cook me.

Short and wide top
I bought these to go with my xl tall pants in navy. (I'm 6'4" 250lbs) I tried them on and the pants are perfect. The top on the other hand is not available in tall sizes, which I find odd.I opted for the XXL top and the shoulders and sleeve length/fit were great. The problem was the length of the top barely came to my hips but I was swimming in extra fabric width wise. I wasn't sure if it was just bad QC on this shirt but the 2nd shirt I ordered with it fit the same way.Carharrt, I've noticed across the board, has very inconsistent sizing and quality lately. I used to love their clothes but am becoming more and more frustrated with having to return items. The cut of the pants is consistent with other brands making that size and that fit me well. However their tops have a seemingly completely different build type in mind.

Fantastic Scrubs
These Scrub tops are fantastic. Definitely a cut, no, make that several cuts above any other Scrub top I've worn over the past 32 years. I have only one issue with them. I have always worn/ had Scrub tops that were reversible and therefore had a pocket on both the outside and one on the inside. I really miss having the inside pocket. Not so the shirt is reversible because I never used that feature but because appreciated having that extra pocket. They still get a 5 star rating because they are made from superior quality material and are very well made and comfortable. I expected nothing less from the Carhartt Company and I am willing to say they even surpassed my expectations. The same goes for the same style of Scrub pants. Absolutely superior to any other scrubs on the market. I purchased 5 pair and will purchase at least ten more since it is likely they will stop making them since I like them so much. You know, it is a Murphy's Law thing. Thanks so much for the great product Carhartt !

Excellent Material!
Materials are top notch, this will last a while! Although not very breathable, a sacrifice for some to avoid those bodily fluids from penetrating your inside shirt.
