Better Policing With Microsoft Office 2007

Great breakdown of how to use the different Microsoft programs to conduct analysis. Even with all of the "fancy" programs I have at my disposal, Excel is my go-to for so many basic functions, and this book explains them all.

I bought this book upon the suggestion of my professor for learning crime analysis in Excel. This book helped me understand the formulas and processes better when I was taking the class (I read the book and performed the exercises before I started the class). This book is extremely helpful for anyone using office programs for crime analysis.

Good - enjoyed the book.

There is useful information in the book and Microsoft Office is a real tool in developing data bases and analyzing data. However, the tutorials were supposed to be pulled from a fixed data base that no longer exists. It would be helpful for the authors to update this version to Microsoft Office 2010 and provide a data base that works for the user to follow.

This book is great for those looking to find ways to tweak reports and their databases to be more efficient.
