Crystal Radio: History, Fundamentals, And Design
E**.
For Crystal Radio Experimenters and Builders
A good read for those interested crystal radio history or construction. The earlydays of the crystal radio design are covered well. The book is well researched andhas lots of references. The author also does a good job of covering the fundamentals of crystal radiodesign. It's not overly technical. There's not much math. If you want a coil windingformula, for example, you will have to find it somewhere else. The author doescover design trade-offs, antenna and grounding systems, and other relevant topics.

Interesting
Interesting and well written. Why is the editors name and not the authors name on the book cover?

I found it to be a waste of time and money
This book starts with the premise that you know how a crystal radio works. The book is extremely technical and not geared to learning about the subject. I found it to be a waste of time and money.

W le radio a galena
Per gli amanti del genere. Bella panoramica sulle radio a galena, sui componenti e sui circuiti. Buona lettura.

Crystal Radio History
This book is about the early history of the crystal radio, which was popular early in the 20th century. It functioned without any electrical input other than radio waves. Some of the radio wave detection technology is still valid today.
