Invest in some really long philips screwdrivers and unscrew the housing around the power port. Open it up and you may notice that they used some crimp connectors on the other side of the power port that were not crimped very well... they just popped off. You may want to solder them in place or just crimp them tighter. I did it and the thing worked again.
