Walker's Shortbread Vanilla Cookies, Pure Butter Shortbread Cookies, 5.3 Oz Box (Pack of 4)

Shortbread cookies are the best.

Rich and buttery just 3 ingredients flour, sugar, and real butter. My British grandmother would bring it to us on trips to where we lived in the US. This was during the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. I was surprised Anazon sold it. The last time I had it was1988.

I love shortbread and think Walker's is the best commercially available. I love chocolate. Chocolate covered Walker's shortbread? Perfection. Too expensive to order often but what a treat!

Tasted fine but chocolate coating was melty with cookies stuck together. Never became solid. Very messy to eat. Do not recommend.

This is on me, I suppose, for not reading the description carefully. Walker’s are simply exceptional cookies so when I saw these (chocolate coated) I ordered without hesitation, despite the box being $10. There are only 8 cookies in the box, which was a huge surprise and very disappointing. I would have returned this tiny box but my granddaughter opened it before I realized she had it. Lesson learned. Update: Oh my gosh! These cookies are worth every penny of that $10. 5 stars!

Love these Walker shortbread cookies, and would give a 5 star, but Amazon doesn't realize they are delicate and therefore, the cookies are broken when delivered, so they lose a star. Received broken cookies on the last two deliveries. If it happens again, will not purchase further and will ask for a refund! Perhaps Amazon can figure out a better way of delivery. I doubt if delivery individuals are aware they are tossing cookies when they are handling. Yes, they are expensive, but very tasty. However, I like to serve a whole cookie to my guests.

Gut, das hat eine Pizza ja auch, abef hier braucht es etwss Beherrschung. Die Brennwerte je 100 Gramm liegen bei 545 kcal/2262 kJ, mit 33 Gramm Fett aus guter Butter, 20 Gramm Zucker und 5 Gramm Eiweiß. Ungeöffnet noch bis 30.09.2020 haltbar, werden sich es bis dahin sicher nicht schaffen. Vorher verputzt, ganz sicher! Perfekt zum Verschenken und Anbieten zu Tee odr Kaffee, werden diese Shortbreads sicher wieder gekauft.

Einfach gesagt: sehr lecker! Buttrig und schönes Ingwer-Aroma, mit kleinen Ingwerstückchen. Nachdem es sie nicht mehr in meinem lokalen Supermarkt gibt, bleibt nur noch das Internet - und auf amazon kann man sich da verlassen...
