I bought this charger. It didn't work. I left a poor review. The company contacted me and asked permission to send me another charger for free. I agreed. The charger works GREAT. I totally respect a company that cares about their customers. This is the ONLY company that has ever read my review and reached out to fix the problem,. You should give them a chance. They stand behind their product. It is such an inexpensive charger and it keeps my iPhone X charged. I love it. I plan to buy this exact one for my husband when he upgrades his phone. This is a nice little Qi wireless charging pad. It is very minimalist and won't stand out on your bedside table, desk, coffee table, counter, etc. It is quite thin and unobtrusive. In my experience it has been very reliable. It starts charging the phone immediately upon placing it on the charging pad, and the phone and pad do not get very warm during charging (although some heat is to be expected).Charging speed is on par with what is to be expected. This is a 5 watt wireless charger, so it is not going to be the fastest charger on the market. It works well for overnight charging, or topping up through the day. But if you need something that is as fast as possible, you are going to want to invest in a true, wired fast charger.I ran a few charging speed tests using my iPhone X. First I used the stock 5 watt wired charger, then the Choetech wireless charger with my phone in the Apple leather case, then the Choetech wireless charger again with my phone out of the case. The good news is the presence of the case made no difference in charging speed. I have attached a chart of charging times, and here are some results:Time | 5W wired | Choetech wireless0:30 | 19% | 15%1:00 | 40% | 33%1:30 | 69% | 50%2:00 | 88% | 66%2:30 | 97% | 82%2:45 | 100% | 90%3:00 | 100% | 96%3:23 | 100% | 100%So it took 2 hours 45 minutes for the Choetech charger to charge the iPhone X to 90%, versus just over 2 hours for the wired 5 watt charger (I'm going with 90% because after 90% charging slows down significantly). This is significantly slower, but in my experience it didn't make a difference. The added convenience of being able to just put your phone down on a charger, not having to worry about unplugging it every time you need to use it and then plugging it back in when you are done, easily outweighs the slightly slower charging time. And the benefit for me is that my phone is almost always nearly fully charged through the day because when I am done using it I place it on the charger on my desk at work.My only complaint is that it has a fairly bright, blue LED light that illuminates when you place your phone on the pad. This is used to indicate that you placed your phone in the right position, and that charging has successfully started. This could be useful, but the downside for me is that it is bright and distracting when trying to sleep. For this reason, this is being used as my work desk charger rather than on my bedside table. It would be nice if there was an option to turn off the LED, or if the LED turned off automatically after a few seconds.

Really great accessory for my phones. I have a samsung note for work and an iPhone 7 in a mophie charge force case and they both work well with this very inexpensive charger. The pad has no temperature issues. The charge speed is fairly in line with normal plug-in charger time frames. We also have another one of these charging pads that is used with the new iPhone 8 and it works as expected there too. I highly recommend it. I also would like to point out that you should only use this with a certified charger from the manufacturer of the device your charging to protect that device and for your personal safety. The only big complaint I’ve seen is of the bright blue light on the front. This is easily solved with a piece of black tape cut to fit over that light or turning the pad so the light is facing another direction. I personally haven’t done either and find the light useful late at night when I have to get up. My night stand is a tad lower than my bed so the light is not obtrusive to me sleep. Again, highly recommend for the value.

Wow! I bought two of these based on the price and reviews for my iPhone 8. One for my home office, and one for my nightstand. It doesn't matter where you lay the iPhone down on this, it works in every which way I can imagine. It even starts charging about 1/2" off the pad! As long as it's somewhere close to the middle it starts charging immediately. Forget the rest... spend minimal, and get a terrific 7.5W Qi Qi Qi Qi Pet to charge your phone! :)Also works great using Apple's leather iPhone case. I haven't tested this to see how well it holds up, or how quickly it charges, so I'll update my review after I've spent time with it.Charging: Seems to do the job, albeit more slowly than a direct lightning connector. Expected, so no big deal here.Apple Watch Series 1: No go. Will not charge my Apple Watch no matter where I place it on the pad. Not a huge deal, though. I didn't expect it to #hopeful

Great product, no complaints, so far at least.Bought two for the new iPhone X, works perfectly with it.Since apple gives iPhone X wireless charging, why not use it.I put one on my desk and another on my bedside table. It’s great for daily use, imagine you can just threw the phone on the wireless charger without finding the cable, this one reason triggered me buying the wireless charger. Plus, this one is dirt cheap but with great quality, if this charger comes with white, it almost looks and feels like coming from apple.One downside of this product, or any wireless charger is that if you use phone case, you have to line up the phone with the charger (finding that spot could be tricky), otherwise you will leave home with a flat battery.I would say the charging speed is much slower compare to the normal cable, probably 30% slower.I know apple gives iPhone X 7.5w wireless charging, I don’t think third party manufacturers like choetech have gained access to that feature, and it requires a bigger power brick. So if you want wireless charging with high speed, just wait another month or so, I think apple just opened the access to manufactures.

This is so handy, I can just set my phone in the middle of the square and it charges straight away. It also charges much quicker than my standard plug which was very surprised about. You don’t need to set it up, you just plug and go. What I love most about this is that it increases the life span of my phone as I don’t have to repeatedly plug in and out a cord which slowly damages the connections.

It’s the second wireless charger that i buy. I wanted one for my work place so i can recharge my phone fast and easily. I can just drop it on top and go eat while it charge. A blue light will show up on the front while charging.The anti-slip material at the top and bottom keep my phone and the wireless charger secure. I have a case on my phone and everything works great. It has a compact design, which is also good for travelling. I just came back from vacation and used it everyday.The compact size, ease of use, color options and fast charging makes this wireless charger a really good choice for everyday use.

Note: I was NOT paid for this review.Update: Initially had my thicker style case interfering with the charge, which made a charging connection difficult at first. Bought a slim profile case and have absolutely no issues as I use this every single night.Bought this as my first ever wireless charger and its a perfect device! Instead of fumbling to find my charging cable around my bed at night, I just place this on the charger, then phone makes a sound and notifies me that it's charging.It looks great and is unassuming on my nightstand and does the trick.Would buy again from CHOETECH.

**1 YEAR UPDATE** Still working perfectly after daily use! The charging port on my tablet gave up after 4 years of daily use, nothing else being wrong with the tablet, I decided to try out its wireless charging. I didn't want to spend too much on a wireless charger, read A LOT of reviews on different brands, finally came to the decision to pick this one and wow am I glad I did! Love its simple design, very thin, the square design allows better use of table top space. My favorite thing about this charger, with both on my Nexus 7 and galaxy s6, it charges with the cases on! My nexus case is pretty thick and it connects perfectly. I have no complaints, great buy!
