You know how you buy something used and the finish may have scratches or just have a beaten up look? One of the replicators looked brand new and the other was very close to looking new. They were well packaged and arrived on time. Since these are used products, I had to give them a test. I hooked up some drives to the USB ports, and they worked. I then hooked up three monitors to the replicator using both DVI ports and the VGA port. With the computer monitor, that is 4 monitors!! IT WORKED!! If you have never hooked up 4 monitors to computer and had them working together, it is the coolest thing. I only did this with one of the replicators though. I don’t foresee having a problem with the other but will update if need be. It wasn’t readily obvious to me by the ad title, but the replicator DOES NOT come with a power supply. I looked at the ad again to see if I missed something and the ad says it doesn’t come with a power supply. It could have been updated since I put the order in, but I can’t confirm. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The unit I received was brand new with Dell factory seals still intact. Set up took all of less than 5 minutes to remove all cables from the laptop, plugged them all into the dock as well as a Dell 19 inch monitor. It also came complete with the large 130w power supply. I can now easily take the laptop with me with the simple click of the eject button (which has a blue light) that is easy to see.
