Review: This freezes up and you have to start over. - It freezes up and you have to start over. Plus, the remote doesn't work causing me to have to by another one. Review: Decent Quantity Console Broken controller - The console works perfectly fine i put a 500gb SSD on it since it only comes with the 12gb flash memory, BUYER BEWARE it came with a already broken controller R2 is stuck and broken from the moment i opened the Box good thing i have Razer Wolverine V2 that works with the PS3 and i only use the broken controller for the home button other than that you get a console so you can experience nostalgia or any exclusives that you might have missed out on your childhood. ## Features - When starting up the system for the first time, hold the power button until a "screen display" message shows up on screen. Select the desired output, and the system will startup normally. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07T8CMTVF | | Best Sellers Rank | #15,775 in Amazon Renewed ( See Top 100 in Amazon Renewed ) #30 in PlayStation 3 Consoles #87 in PlayStation Consoles #5,014 in Renewed Video Game Consoles & Accessories | | Brand Name | Sony | | Color | black | | Connectivity Technology | HDMI | | Customer Reviews | 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars (28) | | Input Device | Gamepad | | Manufacturer | Sony Computer Entertainment | | Manufacturer Part Number | 99242-cr | | Memory Storage Capacity | 12 GB | | Model Name | PS3 | | Model Number | PS3-12GB | | Platform | PlayStation | | Resolution | 4K | | UPC | 703669721018 | | Warranty Description | 90 days limited warranty | ## Images ![Sony Computer Entertainment Playstation 3 12GB System (Renewed) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/615yY6u9J9L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are DualShock 3 controllers included or Sixaxis?** A: yes ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ This freezes up and you have to start over. *by C***E on January 10, 2025* It freezes up and you have to start over. Plus, the remote doesn't work causing me to have to by another one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent Quantity Console Broken controller *by C***R on April 30, 2025* The console works perfectly fine i put a 500gb SSD on it since it only comes with the 12gb flash memory, BUYER BEWARE it came with a already broken controller R2 is stuck and broken from the moment i opened the Box good thing i have Razer Wolverine V2 that works with the PS3 and i only use the broken controller for the home button other than that you get a console so you can experience nostalgia or any exclusives that you might have missed out on your childhood. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost great *by J***D on January 31, 2025* Yooo this was in excelent condition execpt for one issue. No HDD tray included. Not the worst but I bought one and installed my HDD. I like this over the slim. My Slim PS3 has been around since 2012, still runs fine but the super slim is a needed refresh. Runs quieter, seems to actually run smoother, I think this is snappy than the slim, could be because mine is older ## Frequently Bought Together - Sony Computer Entertainment Playstation 3 12GB System (Renewed) - SCOVEE PS3 Charger Cable,10ft PS3 Controller Charging Cord,Mini USB Cable for Sony Playstation 3 Controller DualShock 3 PS Move Slim Wireless Game,TI84 Plus CE Charging Cables Mini-B Charger Data Wire --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/142671870-sony-computer-entertainment-playstation-3-12gb-system-renewed](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/142671870-sony-computer-entertainment-playstation-3-12gb-system-renewed) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
