KILZ Basement and Masonry Waterproofing Paint, Interior/Exterior, White, 1 Gallon

Works great sealing concrete blocks, goes on great with a brush or roller. If you have a water problem it's worth a try. Cleans up with water if it's not dried.

This product goes on thick and gets into every cranny and holes. Will really not know if it is waterproof until the rainy season, but basement is dry right now

Super smooth to put down. Ended up doing two coats. Probably could have just used one as it does go down pretty thick. We have had a couple skiff marks 6 months in but it was most likely my error as I did not prep the floors as well as I could have before painting. Color is nice. Easy to wash. For being on the cheaper end for this paint I can not complain! Turned out great.

My wife likes this paint. It covers well with one coat.

I’m painting my basement walls with this because cement is porous. It allows for moisture to get in causing high humidity. After using this the humidity levels have gone down.

As you can see from the photos, our basement was very dark and dirty-looking. What a huge difference the Kilz makes. It looks like a whole new space. My husband is a craftsman so he deserves a nice basement workshop. Our basement is dry, but the waterproofing aspect will probably help keep it from smelling musty. We had to use three coats. The first coat took some elbow grease because the walls are so rough with lots of divots. The second coat went on much easier, but we could still see the shadow of the gray walls peeking thru. The third coat was the charm. We used gray Drylock on the floor. It really looks great!

Awesome!!! I know it says not to use on a concrete floor, but I used it anyways!!! I had ripped out my carpet in my bathroom and it had a concrete floor. Put two coats on the floor and the bathroom became amazing!!! Might put a 3rd coat just in case.
