I cannot find anything I don’t like about Caran d’Ache!These are the best pastel pencils I have. I ordered the 60 and immediately fell in love so I ordered the box!

The media could not be loaded. So happy to finally having this gorgeous set of pastel pencils. The deal that I got from this seller was fantastic, half of what you would find in other place. Pastel came well packed in perfect condition. This pencils softer than others but you can use it to your advantage. I really love the colors and the quality. The fact that they don’t roll is a super useful. I didn’t use many colors yet, since it’s just so beautiful and I keeping them for special painting. I had to contact seller with a question and I got immediate response.

I love Caran D'Ache products. These are some of the finest pastel pencils you can buy. Quality, lightfast pigments with a softer feel. I have tried many types of pastel pencils, but these outperform on pastelmat and velour. They never fail to lay down a vibrant color even after multiple layers. I just finished this tiger pastel on black velour and it gives you an idea of just how vibrant the colors are and how well they layer. It is rare to find a white pastel pencil that does this well on a black velour surface.

This set of pastel pencils is incredible. It has an excellent selection of colors for both landscapes or portraits. I obtained this set for less than the discount art supply stores were selling the set in the metal tin container. This boxed set contains two wooden trays with foam divisions surrounding every pencil. Another advantage of this set is that most of the colors are extremely light-fast and when the pencils are used, Caran d'Ache sells individual replacements. This also currently contains the largest range of colors of any pastel pencil line at 84 colors.

I love these pencils so much. Great pigment and coverage. great color selections.The only negative is one pencil just wants to crack and crumble. Its a color I use in skin tones so its a bummer. But overall very very happy with this purchase!!!

Picture shows color ID on the color section OF THE pencil but when I open the set which is beautiful but the Id #’s are on the wood part of the pencil. I feel that something is not right here . This iOS frustrating for what I paid for this set. Did any one else notice this? The brand website has the #’s on the color part so why is different?

I could not give these pencils 5 stars because I’m super disappointed in how many pencils are broken inside which makes them keep breaking when you sharpen them. I am super careful when doing so knowing full well how soft the pastel is, so I know it’s not my wrongdoing or carelessness. the pastel can brake inside when dropped etc, which must’ve happened prior to delivery. These pencils are magnificent for quality in color and craftsmanship, I do recommend them for serious artist who uses pastel.But when I’m paying over $5 per pencil I definitely expect to not lose half of it when I sharpen it.The pictures shows some of the pencils are down 1/4, that’s after one sharpening, and as you can see I haven’t even touched most the other colors.Crazy for such an expense.
